Vintage Original Charcoal Drawing – Modernist Figurative New Orleans Art

Striking vintage original charcoal drawing on paper featuring an expressive modernist composition of overlapping figures, faces and abstracted forms.

This is an original work on paper, not a print or reproduction. The drawing has strong charcoal handling, visible construction lines, expressive shading and a distinctly mid-century / modernist feel.

This piece was acquired with a group of artwork and materials associated with New Orleans artist Fred Haines. No visible signature has been located on this particular drawing, so it is being offered as an unsigned vintage artwork and is not represented as an authenticated work by Haines.

The paper appears to have been removed from an artist sketch pad and retains the perforated top edge.
